arrange money-article-mrs.Anita

Several ways to manage finances for college students:

1 . Distinguish needs

College students needs 2 things, there are primary needs and secondary needs. Primary needs include books, pencils, a boarding etc. While the secondary needs are Smartphone, laptops, etc.  If you do not have enough money, then buy the primary needs first.

2 . Accept the reality of not having enough money

Choose a place that is cheap but comfortable . Do not be shy to eat in “Warteg” as long as it is healthy to eat because to fill the stomach with healthy and tasty food does not always have to in an expensive restaurant.

3 . Desire vs. needs

You should be able to differentiate between desire and needs. Prioritize the needs first. If it’s not so necessary, then do not buy it. Prioritize your college things first in order to remain until the end of the semester.

4 . Part time work

If the money from the parents are still not enough, you can work part time. With work, you will get extra money that can be used for your needs for college.

5 . Choose association

Find friends who are able to live a good habit for managing their money; do not find friends who like to party because the people around you can affect your habits as well.

As a student, you should be able to manage your own money so you can appreciate this life and be thankful for every penny in your pocket.
